Orveda

Orveda is a luxury skincare brand focused on "green, clean and vegan" skincare. On a team of two, we helped to design and project manage their first North American Maison on Madison Ave, New York, NY.

The Maison is a space where the Orveda's clients can go to receive facials, relax and learn about the skincare products before going back to hectic city life. Orveda also shares the Maison with its sister brand Infiniment Coty Paris (ICP). ICP sells perfume. Their space includes a lounge as well as an interactive installation of human sized 3D printed flowers that you can walk up to and smell. The center of each flower diffuses a different perfume.

For this project I did the site survey as well as draw the survey drawings in AutoCad and then took those drawings to create the construction documents. I worked closely with the client to ideate and space plan the best use of the existing space for their specific needs. The existing space was an old mansion, which meant that we needed to get creative to deliver an aesthetic result while being compliant with current city building codes. I also attended construction meetings and updated the design as needed based on the needs of the construction site.
