INTERIOR DESIGN & FINE ART
Tourneau | Bucherer
Bucherer 1888 (a high end watch and fine jeweler based in Switzerland) purchased Tourneau (a high end watch company based in the United States) to break into the American market. I work with a small team at KPA, where we help to rebrand and renovate the existing Toureau stores and give them a classy timeless look.
The first project shown below is the South Coast Plaza Mall, Costa Mesa, CA, which also includes a Patek Philippe location. For this project I helped design the "Bucherer 1888" wall at the storefront as well as I suggested to make the existing Pete Mondrian interior wall pattern used in some of the past projects, to be on multiple planes instead of flat, to give some depth and dimension. I also attended weekly design meetings with the client where I would share the 3D model that I created with the design program 'Sketchup' to discuss the proposed design. During this project I helped draw the construction documents as well.
The second project shown below is from The Westchester Mall, White Plains NY, which also includes a Rolex location. For this project I helped with design documents, designing the "Bucherer 1888" wall at the storefront, construction documents, tile takeoffs, a survey of the space after demolition, and attended construction meetings.
